My story is about three teenagers who are chosen the protect their species. It's based around one girl who is called 'the song' because when she sings, a strange force takes over her (that's why she's part of the group). Together those three teens are called 'the sight', chosen to join, chosen to give up their lives.
I don't know whether to call my book, 'Sight of the species' or 'Song of the species'.
Sight is more connected to the story, but song sounds better.

I know loads of books that have the same name. What's important is that it was my idea! So, who thinks which title I should choose?

Do you know why she's depressed or is she just like that? I'd suggest that you throw her a party for no reason or to get her to open up and express why she's so sad. And a little bit of humour in everyday life never hurt anyone.

I don't think that will work lm at first I thougt it was just a phase but it's going on and getting me down.Plus I'm not a very good listener and If it is a party she will probaly not be sad I mean she does have fun sometime like today we got a bit over exited and besides Mum probaly won't let me or phill anyway considering mums a pushover plus everyday she talks about stuff and she seems happy but she then goes all depressed and It scares me

And renn,Its ok but a bit normal and It doesn't give much of a description and I agree with lm it has to be longer.Or you could just cut the prolouge altogever Its simple and I advise you think of atitle after writing because you may add or change things that efffect the title

I've pretty much worked out who it is, E. A little tip then. *The following is taken out of a magazine article called 'Hormonal depressions: what to do when your friend gets them'
Don't let her/him talk about anything depressing or annoying or even just a touch sad. Also, try to get her/him to listen to the right music. Not disgustingly happy, but make sure it's a song like 'Innocence' by Avril Lavigne or 'You raise me up' which are both really is quite uplifting and hopeful. The depression will pass with time, you've just got to distract from all the bad things in life until then.

PS- If it is who I think it is, don't say anything about life or it's meaning. You'll get depressed too. I know it's hard work but when it's over, you'll have a friend for life.

Thanks for the tips I'll try although the music bits a bit hard especially considering the music I listen to is very emmbarassing and when you talk about well know songs with me It goes in one ear and out the other unless its from about 5 years ago besides I don't think anyone on here would know any of the songs I listen to so it'll be a bit hard for me.but someone you knows likes some too so it'll be okay.I hope the person in question dosen't read this...

hm..I know who it is...I might try that but it isn't easy when you agree with a few of the things they say.

If anyone can help me,I'd love the help with choosing a name for my story,I could post the first chapter if that would help.
