everything had gone black.A girl somewhere screamed. "Who'd be afraid of the dark at that age?Gutless fool"Narumi muttered
Suddenly the floor shook and rain fell. "So this is the first newbie's power thats gone out of control."Narumi said
*Sorry if you didn't like it.I was a bit short on ideas.It was hard to come up with this much*

"Ow!" Guana cried. "You stood on my foot!" She was unsure of who she was talking to for she certainly couldn't see anything. She hadn't seen anything so dark and bleak in her life than seeing nothing. Only the feel of her eyelids blinking let her know that her eyes were still open. "Narumi!" She called. "Narumi, where are you?"
At that moment a cool female voice, amplified by some device, calmly spoke. "Please let go of those wires, Juntool. They are not for playing with. Everyone, do not panic and make your way to the gym in an orderly fashion. No one disobey this command. Make your way to the gym in an orderly fashion."
Suddenly, the lights were back on and Guana had to blink before she could focus. This was obviously the girl's dorm as there was a boy in sight. Guana couldn't see Narumi but everyone seemed to be moving silently in one direction. She followed the flow.
Taking an uncountable number of turns through the coridoor, Guana eventually came to some large mahogany pair of doors. She didn't stop and was swept by the crowd into a cavernous hall with handles and trapezes along the ceiling and ladders lining the walls. She was in the gym. She looked round for a glimspe of someone familiar but everyone was sitting down and she didn't want to be the only one left standing. A man came to the front of the gym and began to speak.

*This guy is someone called 'an objective character'. This means anyone can control him as if he was there own person.*

"Hello students,old and new,Male and female.It seems there are lots of powerful new students and it is my job to tell you student all the aims of this wonderful school"

Narumi yawned she had heard this lecture since she was young it was always exactly the same she didn't know why she even had to come.Then again when she had questioned it was answered 'we find students often forget things and facts need refreshing over time'.She didn't need facts refreshing she already knew it off by heart.

"But, to be honest, this is nothing like a school is it? I'm Heresity and I'm your general, a general is only topped by the field marshal, by the way. Now, there's no denying it, this is an army. And you will address me as Sir. Sir at the beginning of the sentence. Sir at the end. What do you say?"
Guana stared blankly at him, unsure of what to do, and she wasn't the only one to. She was easily able to pick out the new recruits because most of the gym rang out a clear loud cry.
"SIR YES SIR!"
Taken partly aback by the noise, Guana sat dazed and listening to General Heresity's speech. He went on in an exciting voice to decribe countlessly won battles and glory. For all the world he sounded like this monlouge had no plan and he was just telling them wildly about his favourite bits about being in an army. He invited the tempting hints of promotion but did strongly warn against all the hard work, death and horror that inevitably came with being in the army. He even described in gory uneeded detail how awful it was to see his best friend die right beside him. He inspired energy and hope with his words and Guana was captivated although she thought it was strange how half of the soldiers were fidgeting and yawning. By the end of the two hours though, even she was squirming with the cramp of sitting on a cold hard floor.
"You are dismissed to your quarters. Walk, don't run. Training begins tomorrow. Six am sharp."
A collective groan went up in the crowd, one which Guana heartly joined in with. Everyone was leaving and she was terribly lost. Where was her dorm? She had to find someone she recongnised, and quick!

Narumi hung back unwilliang to go to the dorm just because of an order.Besides it was still early she was planning to take a walk.
"Narumi,hurry up!"The general said.
She turned to give him a stare but to her dissmay he was wearing mirrored glasses.She gave him a dirty look and walked off.

Guana thought she heard Narumi's name shouted above the clamour. She wheeled around. "Narumi?" she cried, hopelessly confused. "Oh, Lord protect me." She mumbled. "Narumi!"

*Stay together or else the RP falls apart. I learnt that a long time ago.*

Narumi looked round for Guana after all she wasn't so cruel as to leave her when she most likely didn't know the way to the dorms.She was succsessful and whithin a minuite had found her.
"coming?"she asked.

"Yep." Guana replied following Narumi. She felt at once dizzy because a crowd of people had just started charging right at them. "Um... Guess they must be eager to get to bed," Guana said doubtfully. After all the mob was heading right for them in a direction where there was no doors. And they were carrying weapons. It didn't look good. She looked at Narumi. "Think we need to get out of here quick!"

*Unknown to Guana, the people were charging of to the armory where the door was hidden by a wall. They had to find the prankster who sold them dud weapons and they were pretty sure they weren't going to let the culprit get away. To Guana, it looks like an angry mob is is trying to kill her.*

Narumi looked at the mob the Guana.She hated running.She grabbed Guana and pulled her through a secret door she had discovered when she was 4.Safe!Altough she recognised the people there was alway chance of them being in disguises.

*in case you're wondering Narumi has lived at the school her whole life so she know a few passages*

The shock of going through a secret door unnerved Guana greatly, but she was grateful nevertheless. "Thank you! I thought we were done for! Why were they after us and, um... where are we?"

*When you introduce a new setting, make sure you describe it a little so others know where they are.*

"Is our dorm anywhere near?"

*sorry ok then description:A dark passageway with not much in it i guess*

"where are we"Narumi said staring in disbelif."Isn't that a bit obvious?A secret passageway and it leads right to the dorms.I just hope those people are meant to be here!"

She set of along to passageway keeping a hand to the wall so that she didn't get lost.

Lina was dragging herself slowly towards the gym, depressed as always. She didn't like having no friends much but her last experience of friends had really put her off. She used to be the happiest person ever, until all her 'friends' gasnged up on her when she discovered her control of fire and they threw whatever they could find at her. Sh ehad run away that day and found the school she was now trudging through, finally belonging again.

Narumi leant against the wall waiting for Guana when the wall moved!She had known she hadn't found all the passageways but she never suspected there was one there.As she sat up she realised there was something warm underneath her.She looked down and blushed she had landed on someone she jumped up.

"I'm sooooo sorry"she said to the girl.Narumi may be unsociable but she does have manners."will you forgive me?"

"That's ok...I'm kinda used to it"Lina said looking sadly at the person who had landed on her. "I get it all the time..."

"Why?"Narumi simply asked.Growing up in the castle she had never considered her powers weird or been bullied about them or bullied at all.She looked at Lina as if her answer was the most intresting thing to find out.

Lina looked down again, recalling her days in bording school. "Well, you see...everyone picks on me when they found out I could control fire...even my frends...they would throw everything at me, lock me in the toilets, flush my head down the loo...and the teachers never did anything! Now i have learnt the simple rule of life: "trust noone, live life alone, and noone wiill get hurt"

Being completely in the dark, Guana didn't see Narumi disappear. "Narumi, I can't see. Narumi? Narumi? OK, this isn't funny. Narumi! Are you there? Narumi!" She felt panicked. She thought she could hear voices. Guana hated the dark. She started humming a loud bright happy song to herself. It sounded lonely in the echoing passageway.

Hearing a loud humming noise Narumi turned and remembered Guana.
"Guana"She called into the darkness of the passageway.

Guana though she could hear her name being said. She stopped humming wondering if it was just her imagination. "Hello? Hello? Anyone there?" she called into the darkness. All of a sudden, a bright light popped into existance and she could see Narumi and someone she had never met before. A hand reached out from a corner and grabbed Guana by the shoulder. She couldn't turn around. She was frozen in fear.

"Excuse me," said a deep voice. The hand belonged to it. Guana slowly turned around to see a man with bulging muscles but with a kindly expression. "Are you lost?" he asked politely.
"Yes," Guana replied, "Do you know the way. I think I've lost my friend here somewhere."
"OK. Let's see if you can find your mate first and then I'll take you back for your first training session, which will betough I warn you. Assuming you're a newbie right?"
Guana groaned, "It's that obvious?"
The man laughed and lead the way. "I'm Darren, by the way. That's Colonel to you. Now, around here is a sort of trapdoor thing. It used to be a fire exit before the outside door got blocked." Suddenly, the colonel leant over a patch of floor. "Here we are! Now what is your friend's name?"
"Narumi."
The colonel rolled his eyes. "Narumi. Of all the people...." He leaned over and shouted to the floor. "Narumi! Are you in there? Narumi!"
Guana almost couldn't contain her laughter. A fully-grown man was standing and shouting a the floor! It was so funny!
